Our Services
Insulation
If your home is not properly insulated you could be loosing up to 30% of your heat through the roof, and another 30% through the walls.
Wall 2 Wall specialises in providing cost effective insulation solutions that will save you money on your home heating bills. Using a range of products from market leading suppliers, we can make your home more energy efficient and comfortable wit hone of our insulation packages.
Attic insulation
Ceiling level roof insulation is generally the most cost effective of any energy efficiency upgrade made to a house. Even if you have some attic insulation you should upgrade it to today’s standard of 300mm of rockwool or equivalent.
Cavity wall insulation
A cavity wall consists of two rows of brick or concrete block with a cavity or space between them. Injection of insulating product from the outside is the best method for insulating this type of wall. This is a very cost effective method of wall insulation. If your home is built using solid wall or hollow block construction methods, cavity fill insulation is not possible. You have two options: either internal wall insulation or external wall insulation.
Internal wall insulation
Internal insulation is also known as dry lining. This usually involves fixing composite insulation board containing insulation, a vapour barrier and plasterboard to the wall. The board is applied to the inside of the external walls.
External wall insulation
External insulation involves fixing insulating materials such as mineral wool or expanded polystyrene slabs to the outer surface of the wall. The insulation is then covered with a special render to provide weather resistance. A steel or fibreglass mesh is embedded to provide strength and impact resistance.
Plastering
Wall 2 Wall provides a wide range of plastering services, from full house plastering, to skim coating and ceiling plastering. We also provide a repair service to repair water damaged plaster, or patches that have become damaged over time.
Rendering
We provide both internal and external rendering to achieve either a smooth or textured finish. The most popular external choice is a smooth finish, where the third coat is finished with a float to give a flat, smooth look making it easy to paint.
Plasterboard Slabbing
Also know as dry-lining, this usually involves fixing composite insulation board containing insulation, a vapour barrier and plasterboard to the wall. The board is applied to the inside of the external walls. or attached to stud partitions. After attaching the plasterboard, all joins and seams are covered with a tape before being skimmed to a smooth finish.
Skimming
We are experts at skimming walls and ceilings to a smooth polished finish, making them ready for painting or papering. Skimming (also known as top coat plastering) is a difficult job as getting it flat and smooth requires a great deal of hard work and practice. We have years of experience and can provide you with a perfect finish every time.

Positive Input Ventilation (PIV)
Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) systems work to create an improved healthy living environment by supplying fresh, filtered air into your property at a continuous rate.
These systems work by ensuring and controlling air movement from inside the property to outside. The PIV unit circulates fresh filtered air into the property at a continuous rate, encouraging movement of air and reducing excess moisture which can cause condensation and damp.
Our range of Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) units help to reduce moisture trapped inside your home which, if left unmanaged can cause condensation problems and lead to mould growth.
Extensions
There are many reasons why your house may need an extension. From the arrival of a new family member, to kids growing up and needing extra space, or wanting to improve the layout (and value) of your home. A quality extension can turn unused space into an extra room, or rooms that will transform your house into the home of your dreams.
Building an extension can be the biggest investment that you make in your home and it’s essential to get it right. We will help you at all stages from planning through to the final touches and with today’s complex planning and building regulations, we’ll be there to support you every step of the way, ensuring that you get the most out of your investment.
We’ll provide you with a dedicated project coordinator to ensure attention to detail and to provide you with a single point of contact for the duration of the renovation.
